Celem, któremu przyświeca tworzenie witryny, jest wspieranie nauczania języka polskiego, polskiej kultury i tradycji poza granicami Polski. Strona jest częścią portalu "Tema Modersmål" i powstaje przy Skolverket, Szwedzkim Urzędzie Szkolnictwa (wcześniej Myndigheten för skolutveckling - Szwedzkiej Narodowej Agencji Rozwoju Edukacji).

Strona adresowana jest przede wszystkim do nauczycieli języka ojczystego w Szwecji oraz dzieci i rodziców, którzy zainteresowani są nauką języka ojczystego. Naszą ambicją jest stworzenie dobrego zbioru materiałów, pomocy naukowych, zabaw językowych i porad dla rodziców.
